The hut is easily reachable by car via a forest road in summer. In summer it is possible to park directly in front of the hut. In principle, all cars are suitable for the access, except for cars in sport versions. In winter, depending on the road conditions, a four-wheel drive vehicle or snow chains are recommended. In winter, the parking lot is located at the Gasthof Silbertal, from there it is about 100 m (and a few meters of altitude) to the hut.

Please note: If you rely on your GPS, please enter the address of Hotel Silbertal, Gaislach 7 - A-6450 Sölden. There you will find also the parking spaces reserved for you.
If you navigate directly to the hut, there is a risk that the navigation system will lead you to a dead end or onto ski slopes and through the wilderness. We therefore recommend that you use the hotel address given for navigation.

We ask you to contact us early on arrival, the check-in takes place, unless otherwise agreed in the apartment Harmonie (Innerwaldstraße 15, 6450 Sölden). Check-in is possible from 15:00 - for organizational reasons, however, we ask you to inform us of your arrival time in advance. On the day of departure we ask you to leave the alpine hut by 09:00.

Final cleaning & pets
The final cleaning is not included in the price and will be charged separately: € 140,- once per stay,
from winter season 24/25 € 160,-
We ask you to clean the kitchenette, wash and put away the dishes, remove the remaining food and all waste.

We thank you for your understanding that pets are not allowed without exception.

In summer there is a small kettle grill on the alp. Please bring your own barbecue briquettes or charcoal.

Heating / Wood & Electricity
All rooms in the basement and upper floor are heated by the central heating system. In the living room is the cozy farm stove, which is heated with wood.

Wood for grilling and heating the farm stove is available.

Electricity is sufficiently available for all appliances.

The deposit in the amount of € 200, - is to be paid on site in cash. This will be returned to the account given by you after proper waste separation and damage-free handover of the Thaya.

40 % deposit to fix the booking.
Remaining amount 14 days before arrival to our bank account, or cash on arrival.

Travel cancellation insurance
In order to protect yourself against possible cancellation costs, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

We ask for your understanding that smoking is only allowed outside!

The hut is bookable all year round.

Our prices are per week, excluding local tax and excluding final cleaning.
The local tax of € 3,50 is charged separately per person/night. Children and teenagers under 15 years do not pay local tax.

Cancellation conditions from 01.10.2022
* from 60 days to 31 days before arrival we charge 50% of the total amount.
* from 30 days to 8 days before arrival we charge 70% of the total amount.
* from 7 days to the day of arrival we charge 90% of the total amount.
* In case of late arrival or early departure we charge 100% of the total amount. .
* Deposit: 40% after completion of the booking.

This applies in the event of withdrawal by the guest = deviating agreements to the AGBH 2006 point 5.5 and 5.6
The right of withdrawal according to §18Abs. 1Z. 10 FAGG does not apply. With the exception of the cancellation conditions see above (point 5.5 and 5.6), the General Terms and Conditions for the hotel industry apply.

Booking changes as well as cancellations will only be accepted in written form.
So that no expenses arise for you, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

Until Christmas and after the beginning of April it cannot be guaranteed that the ski lifts in Gaislach are open and therefore the ski area is not directly accessible (depending on snow conditions).

"Chrisanten" derives from the father of the builder and grandfather of the current owner of this rustic hut - Chrisant Klotz. Thaya is a colloquial term for an alpine hut (where in earlier times people and animals lived under one roof).

Mountain pastures, also called mown pastures, are meadows on mostly very steep slopes in the high mountains.
